3 Reasons, Why the day begins @sundown
3 Reasons, Why the day begin @sundown
THE DAY THE SUN WAS MADE
GENESIS 1:3-5
3And Alaheym said, Let there be light: and there was light.4And Alaheym saw the light, that it was good: and Alaheym divided the light from the darkness.5And Alaheym called the light Day ( יום), and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning was Day One ( אחד יום).
- The day began the creation of light, therefore “light” & “day” communicate the same meaning.
- Daytime is the time of light. Nighttime is the time without it.
The Cycle of Seven Days
The Cycle of 7 days began with the sun. Every time the sun rotated around the earth, it was counted as a day. The night ended the day, but it also began a new day
A New Day begins at Sundown
Why at sundown, not sunrise?
This is the case for many reasons
#1 – The 1st day began with night
On the 1st day of creation, there was no light, then Yahuah said “Let there be Light” and the first day was made.
Genesis 1:
1In the beginning Alaheym created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Alaheym moved upon the face of the waters.
The terms evening and morning are stupid translations. It is not clearly expressing what the scriptures are exactly saying. Read “Cycle of the Sun” to learn more about these words and why it is incorrect.
Every single day, of the 7 days of creation, night appeared, then the day. This is why it is accepted that night or evening begins the next day or at Sundown more specifically.
#2 – the names of each day express night & day, not just day.
The term “day” – means “light”. This expresses daytime or daylight. In Manakahthey, this word is יוֹם “YuM”.
And Alaheym called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. – Genesis 1:5
However, the 1st day includes night & day or evening & morning…
And the evening and the morning were the first day. – Genesis 1:5
The first day was called “YuM AKahD” not יוֹם “YuM” alone.
Days in Manakahthey
Unspecific Day
Day יום (YuM) – this is light time or daylight or daytime
Specific Days in a Seven Shabath Cycle
Day One אחד יום (YuM AKahD)
Day Two יום שני (YuM ShaNey)
Day Three יום שלישי (YuM ShaLeyShey)
Day Four יום רביעי (YuM RaBey’iey)
Day Five יום חמישי (YuM KahMey’Shey)
Day the Six יום הששי YuM aH’ShaShey)
Day Seven יום שביעי (YuM ShaBey’iey)
The Shabath Day יום השבת (YuM aH’ShaBaTh)
This is why, each day in the Shabath Cycle includes a night. This is a perfect cycle of 24 hours.
Many falsely worship the Shabath only in the Daytime only because they don’t understand that each day in creation included a night and was called by a specific name.
# 3 – Proof is easy to see by looking at the Day of Atonement
The Day of Atonement begins in the 7th Kahdash (which was translated as 7th month) on the 10th day.
Leviticus 23:
26And יהוה (Yahuah) spake unto Moses, saying, 27Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto יהוה (Yahuah).
Then in verse 32, it says the 9th day at sundown
32It shall be unto you a Shabath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Shabath.
שבת שבתון הוא לכם ועניתם את נפשתיכם בתשעה לחדש בערב מערב עד ערב תשבתו שבתכם׃
The 10th day begins at the end of the 9th day, which is at sundown.
The day of Atonement is a 24 hour day of fasting. from Sundown to Sundown.
Consequently, our Shabaths are from sundown to sundown..
“from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Shabath.”
If you have any issues with this information it is likely that it goes against the beliefs in your heart. Don’t seek the truth in your heart. Its right here, plain as day, and I just explained why the Day begins at night in 3 reasons.
If you need a 4th Reason…. Here you go
The Gates closed @ Sundown before the Shabath
Nehemiah 13:
15In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the Shabath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the Shabath day: and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals. 16There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the Shabath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem. 17Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Shabath day? 18Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the Shabath.
19And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the Shabath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the Shabath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the Shabath day. 20So the merchants and sellers of all kind of ware lodged without Jerusalem once or twice. 21Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the Shabath. 22And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Shabath day. Remember me, O my Alaheym, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.
